God loves you and wants you to experience peace and life – abundant and eternal. Because of our nature, we are separated from God; we disobey God and go our own way. Jesus Christ is the only answer to this problem. He died on the Cross for our sins and rose from the grave. By His ultimate sacrifice, Jesus bridges the gap between God and people. Jesus said “Those who believe in me will never die.” We must trust Jesus Christ and receive Him into our hearts by personally inviting Him in.

HOW TO RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST

Admit your need for forgiveness, mercy, grace, direction and peace.

Be willing to turn from your sins, believing that Jesus Christ died for you
    on the cross and conquered death so that you can live forever.

Converse with God through prayer and offer Him a few simple words:

Sorry    God, I am sorry for my sins and the ways I have failed.
Please     I ask you to please forgive me and come into my life.
Thank you    Thank you for your unconditional love and
                        complete forgiveness-- for being my Lord
                        and Savior.
                        Thank you for new life and for eternal life.

Is it really as simple and easy as A - B - C ? Well, yes and no. When your heart is sincere (and you’ll know it), then Jesus is waiting for you with open arms, new beginnings and unlimited possibilities. He is waiting patiently and knocking; but He will not force you to believe or receive Him. If you decide to only “dabble” in Christianity --- then you’ll be a bird with one wing, you’ll have an itch you can never reach, and you’ll only know temporary happiness without deep, overflowing and lasting joy.

Be sure to share your decision with others, spend time each day reading the Bible and in prayer, get involved with a dynamic church and find a few friends who will encourage your journey with Jesus. He loves you so much!
